Each of them brings a unique skill set and perspective to our efforts. Most importantly they are excited about our neighborhood.
Representatives from Transform Rockford will be coming to Second First Church on Wednesday nights beginning on February 17th. Several representatives will speak and those in attendance will have a chance to ask questions of the presenters and hear where Transform Rockford is at in the process of changing Rockford into a Top 25 City by 2025. The Annual Meeting for Jeremiah Development will be held on Thursday, February 11th, 2016. The meeting will be held at Second First Church which is located at 318 North Church Street, Rockford, IL 61101. The meeting will begin at 5:30. During the meeting our Annual Report will be presented as well as the election of new board members.

The Coronado Haskell Resident Leadership, welcomes all residents of the Coronado Haskell area to partake in a neighborhood rebuilding workshop. We will be serving dinner, and free childcare while you meet your neighbors, and learn how to make the place you live, your dream neighborhood. How cool is that? We will give you the tools necessary to complete any changes you could imagine in your neighborhood, while providing all necessities to make this rebuilding workshop easy and fun! Come to our first meeting on October 13th at 5:45 PM. The meeting is located at your local Community Action Agency 555 N Court Street #301 in Rockford, Illinois. Let us have dinner together, and find out information to make the Coronado Haskell Neighborhood a success. You don’t want to miss this!
On Sunday, June 28th, we hosted our 3rd Annual Party in Park. Once again the weather cooperated for us and allowed our guests to enjoy wonderful music, dancing, storytelling, crafts, and games.
There were several service vendors providing information to those in attendance. Jeremiah Development provided water and snacks throughout the afternoon. Special thanks once again to the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois for funding this event in part. We also thank the Rockford Park District for all of their support in making this event happen. We hope to see you all next year!
